Magic dragon Street meet Nationals

The Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is a long running automotive event open to all makes, models, and years of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Established in 1987, the show now welcomes more than 800 registered vehicles and draws over 10,000 spectators each year. Held along the historic Bagnell Dam Strip at the Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri, the event benefits from decades of experience and a setting that is central to the show’s identity. During show hours on Saturday, the strip is closed to regular traffic, creating a unique environment where only show vehicles line the street.

The event’s name comes from a longtime local nickname for the Lake of the Ozarks. From the air, the lake’s winding shape resembles a large dragon as it stretches through the Missouri hills, earning the area the title “The Land of the Magic Dragon,” a name that has become closely tied to this signature event.
