Cocktails & Caddies Golf Tournament

This FUN tournament is held in April of each year. It is a scramble format made up of 3-Lady teams, where the teams bid on a male "caddie" and his prize package. The male "caddie" the team "wins" then plays with the team as their fourth player. Local male golf pros, low handicap male golfers, and local "personalities" make up our caddie pool - many tell us it's their favorite tournament of the year!

This tournament draws an average of 60 -70 lady golfers from the local area and surrounding cities like Rolla and St. Louis! It features 1st-3rd prizes in 3 flights, proxy prozes on EVERY hole, plus 3 Hole Hosts, 3 Vendor Booth Sponsors, a Lunch Sponsor, and Mimosa Sponsors. It's a great tournament to be a hole sponsor too! Participants are affluent women with purchasing power, so it’s a good chance to put your business directly in front of them. Social media spotlights for sponsors leading up to show.

Recognized as one of the largest car shows in the Midwest, we cap our registration at 1,000 participants. The car show is held the first weekend in May each year, and is one of the largest events held at the Lake of the Ozarks annually with an average of 10,000 spectators Thursday thru Sunday. This event supports businesses across the Lake area, not just the Bagnell Dam Strip. The show is heavily promoted through multiple channels (news releases, radio, and social media). In addition to the Sponsorship benefits, our Sponsors also receive social media spotlights leading up to show. The car show looks for volunteers each year to help with planning and execution. Organizations who volunteer may be eligible to receive a portion of the proceeds from the event. Contact the Lake Area Chamber for more information!

Lake Area Chamber Annual Dinner

Held in October each year, this event is the annual business meeting and celebration for the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. We host a different theme each year, often with live entertainment. We review the accomplishment of the Chamber over the past year for our members, introduce the incoming Board of Directors, thank outgoing board members, and recognize local businesses with Annual Awards. The annual dinner is always well-attended by our membership and is a fabulous evening of celebration!

Legislative Reception

This event is held in January each year and is hosted and attended by the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Board Members, as well as board members from the other surrounding Chambers, the CVB, the TCLA, and local and state elected officials. The topics and presenters vary each year, but the topics generally revolve around current issues that are important for our members and local community. It's an opportunity for the Board members of the various Chambers to educate themselves around these issues to better serve their member businesses.

School of the Osage Community Night

Back by popular demand the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to once again partner with the School of the Osage to host Community Night. Lake Area Chamber Businesses are encouraged to participate and set-up their own business booth at the first home football game of the season. This is a great occasion to greet the community in attendance and promote your business. This is also an ideal time to give away custom promotional products!
